Dallas Songwriters Association

Dallas Songwriters Assoc. is a 501 C3 nonprofit organization dedicated to providing learning opportunities about the craft and business of songwriting. All styles of music are welcome in the DSA, and membership includes writers of all ages. DSA monthly activities include meetings with guest speakers, song critiques and performance showcases and open mics that are open to the public and streamed to Facebook and Youtube. In addition, the DSA offers song contests, a Hall of Fame program, community awards, youth programs, and publishes a monthly newsletter, Songwriters Notes.

TOY DRIVE
As part on our Mission Statement each year we partner with Sons of Hermann Hall as a proud sponsor of  “Blue Christmas in July” event. This 20 plus year old organization provides Christmas toys to underprivileged children in south Dallas who may not otherwise receive gifts at Christmas time. Click on the link below to donate:


One hundred % of your donation goes to the purchase of toys. This is a charity so very close to my heart as I have seen the smile on the faces of children who didn’t expect to get anything for Christmas.
Want to drop off a toy in person? You can do that on Friday, Dec 11, 5 - 8 at Sons of Hermann Hall.
